1. Product Introduction
Formolon PR-440 is a high-performance medium molecular weight PVC paste resin produced by Formosa Plastics Corporation. It is a low-to-medium viscosity homopolymer grade specially designed for plastisol processing systems. This product features excellent transparency, outstanding thermal stability, good water resistance and superior weather resistance. It shows high compatibility with most plasticizers, organic solvents and fillers, making processing easier and formulation more flexible. The excellent air release property of its plastisol helps reduce bubbles and pinholes, ensuring smooth surface and high quality of final products. With stable physical and chemical indicators, PR-440 ensures batch-to-batch consistency and reliable processing performance, widely used in various coating, dipping and leather manufacturing fields.

3. Processing & Application Notes
Formolon PR-440 is designed for general and high-grade plastisol applications. Under standard mixing conditions (resin 100 phr, DINP 60 phr, mixed 5 min at low speed and 15 min at high speed), it provides stable viscosity and good flowability. After aging 2 hours at 25℃, the plastisol maintains ideal processing performance. It is especially suitable for solvent-based color paint systems requiring high weather resistance and color stability. It can also be widely used in artificial leather, floor leather, tarpaulin, conveyor belt, glass fiber coating, metal coating, dipping products and other fields.
