1. Product Introduction
FORMOLON PR-440 is a medium molecular weight PVC homopolymer paste resin with low to medium viscosity. It features excellent transparency, thermal stability, water resistance and weather resistance, with high compatibility with plasticizers, organic solvents and fillers. Plastisols based on PR-440 are suitable for non-foaming and micro-foam leather, glass coating, dipping products, metal coating and other applications, especially for solvent-based color paint systems.

Test Condition Notes
1. Plastisol formula for viscosity & flow test: Resin 100 phr, DINP 60 phr; mixed with Hobart N-50 (5 min at speed 1, 15 min at speed 2).
2. Brookfield viscosity test: Plastisol aged 2 hours at 25°C; measured with No.6 spindle at 50 rpm.
3. Severs value test: 2-hour aged plastisol tested under 90 psi pressure.
